Email Site Members allows you to send bulk emails directly from Deskworks to your members. This feature functions similarly to most basic email platforms, where you can add a subject, body text, attachments, images, and hyperlinks. You can also type directly into the Rich Text editor or toggle to HTML editing for more customization.
How to Use Email Site Members
Communications > Email Site Members
1. Choose Your Recipients:
Select who will receive the email by choosing from the following options:
Select All: Sends the email to all active members and co-members.
Membership Category: Choose one or more membership categories for targeted communication.
Checked-in members only: Limit your email to only those members and co-members who are checked-in to your space (within the selected category or categories).
2. Compose Your Email:
Enter your subject, body content, and any additional elements (images, links, attachments, etc.)
You can either type your message directly into the Rich Text editor and utilize the built in tool bar or use the HTML editor for more advanced formatting.
3. Save Your Email as a Template (Optional):
Click Save Template + to save your draft and come back later to finish or send it.
Note: Only one template can be saved at a time. If you navigate away from the page without saving, the previously saved template will automatically populate.
4. Send a Test Email (Optional):
Use the Send Test Email button to send a preview to the email address associated with your admin account. This helps you review the email before sending it to your members.
5. Review Your Email List (Optional):
Click View Email List to see all the recipients in real-time. This list updates as you select different Membership Categories from the Options section, showing only the categories you’ve chosen.
6. Send Your Email:
Once you’re satisfied with your message and recipient list, click Send Emails to send it to your selected members and co-members.
