How do I test my Self-Registration Pages to be sure they are correct/working?

To get the true user experience of these pages you MUST BE LOGGED OUT AS AN ADMIN before testing. Either use the Sign Out link at the bottom of your left menu in Deskworks to fully sign out, or otherwise do all testing in an Incognito/Private Browser window.

Go to the below link, but update the “[yoursite]” portion of the URL to match your URL (e.g. if your URL is “thecoworkingspot.mydeskworks.com”, then change the “[yoursite]” portion of the following URL to “thecoworkingspot”):

https://[yoursite].mydeskworks.com/member-sign-up

Once the page loads, proceed through the sign up process - it should show you exactly what a real user will see. In order to see this process to the end, you may need to enter an actual payment card if your payment processing has been connected. If you payment processor has not been connected, you can use the dummy card number 4111111111111111 with any future expiry and CVV.

Are you missing descriptions from Self-Registration?
Check INVENTORY > MEMBERSHIP TYPES and INVENTORY > PRODUCTS.
On the PRODUCTS page, edit the products in the Membership and Services area of the page. These are the only product descriptions that are public facing.

Note: Products are only public facing if the "Show For Self Registration" box is checked on the Product's page.
