PilotoMail Integration

You can provide digital mail services for your members quickly and easily with PilotoMail, while having all of the charges go through Deskworks. The base monthly charge for Piloto services is billed as a Deskworks Recurring Billing. Piloto can push all of the extra mail charges to a single line item on your Deskworks invoices, while your members can see all of the detail in Piloto. Piloto directly reads your "Sweep" date in Deskworks and pushes the extra charges for mail services just before the Sweep.

When you set up a Recurring Billing for a new (or old) member in Deskworks, if the Product used for the Recurring Billing has been attached to PilotoMail during Setup, the member will automatically be pushed to Piloto and have their Piloto account set up. Similarly, changes or inactivations are also pushed. This may take up to 5 minutes to display in Piloto.

Once you have signed up with Piloto, go to Settings, and click on Deskworks.

• Enter your Deskworks Username, Password, and your Deskworks' site URL.
• Check the box to Bill mailbox renters with Deskworks.
• Mapping Deskworks Products to PilotoMail Products:
  • Once connected, Piloto can read all of your Deskworks Products. Select the Deskworks Product you want to use for billing extra mail charges.
  • In Plans to Mailbox Offerings, select any Deskworks Products that you want to attach Piloto Digital Mail Services to. When a new Recurring Billing is created in Deskworks for one of these Products, it will automatically be pushed to Piloto Mail.
  • Piloto can also read your Locations. Map your Deskworks Locations to your PilotoMail Spaces.
  • Save Changes.

• Add PilotoMail to your Deskworks sidebar
  • Follow the instructions for TASKS to create a sidebar item so that your members can quickly get to their PilotoMail Digital Mail Services right from Deskworks. You may want to put this under the Group MEMBERS, or you may choose to create a new Group -- MEMBER INFO that can provide all the links you want available for your members.
  • Create a Sidebar TASK for your Admins to get to their PilotoMail link as well!
